Young Girls Hostel

As we ministered around our various project sites, we noticed a need for housing for young girls who were seeking permanent employment. General accommodation for young working women is costly, and is not reflective of the general wage. This concerned a number of young girls who had grown up with Footprints and the need to accommodate these young women became imperative. It is for this purpose that we established a hostel for these young women.

We simultaneously use our time with them to teach them valuable life skills (personal and vocational) and provide coaching services for the more entrepreneurial amongst them. We recently launched our cottage industries initiative which actively support small start-up businesses. See our youth enterprise section for further information.
