Prayer & Counselling

Prayer is the foundation of this work. Daily prayer is conducted in the library, and individuals are welcome to come and use the facilities for quiet prayer and contemplation.

FOC Christian based counselling is offered on a walk in basis and we are actively looking to train a wider group of volunteers so we can send them out to the different communities being served.

A Bible study is conducted every Monday which is well attended to encourage a wider appreciation and understanding of the Word of God. Bible studies are well attended by many in the local community and is followed by a short time of fellowship and refreshments.”

We want to inculcate a culture of prayer and counselling that will enable us to reach other communities around Sri Lanka. At present we are working with our limited resources to meet the increasing need for such community based fellowship.
